Chelsea Clinton will get married to long term boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky this month.
As the only child of former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, both parents are very emotional but they can’t wait for the big day.
"You should assume that if he makes it down the aisle in one piece it's a major accomplishment," Hillary Clinton said about her husband to NBC broadcast.
"He is going to be so emotional, as am I, but we're both looking forward to it and very happy about it," she said.
Chelsea Victoria Clinton was born in February 27 of 1980, in Arkansas. Her parents named her after Joni Mitchell’s song, ‘Chelsea Morning.’ For health and ethical reasons, she has been a vegetarian since the age of 11.
She graduated from Stanford University with a history major. In 2001, her undergraduate thesis topic was her father’s mediation of 1998 Belfast Agreement in Northern Ireland. She earned a Masters degree in international relations from University College, Oxford. Moreover, She is currently studying at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health in Washington Heights, New York.
She currently works for Avenue Capital, which is a hedge fund headed by a donor to Democratic causes and a supporter of the Clintons called Marc Lasry.
As she has been the daughter of the President since she was 12, Chelsea has been keeping a low profile since the Clinton family left the White House. However, that did not stop her from campaigning for her mother during the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination.
Marc Mezvinsky is a 31 year old investment banker. He is the son of former Democratic members of the U.S House of Representatives Edward Mezvinsky and Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky.
It has been reported by the local media that the wedding will take place in New York City on July 31. They also speculated that the 29 year old bride will be wearing a gown by Oscar de la Renta. Meanwhile, the guest list is rumored to have around 400 people.
