Say Good Bye to Facebook

Finland’s President, Tarja Halonen handed out the 2010 yearly Internationalization Award to Mohamed El-Fatatry. He is the founder of the Muslim social community “Muxlim.com.” This company is the world’s most comprehensive Muslim website, also known and widely recognized as the Muslim world’s replacement for Facebook.com.
Mohamed El-Fatatry moved from Dubai to Finland five years ago to study at Evtek University of Applied Sciences in Espoo. During his first months in Finland he came to the stark realization that there were no existing websites suitable for him and so many others; geared towards his background as an Egyptian Muslim living outside of his original region. So rather than being complacent with the situation and lack of globalization in this area, he came up with the brilliant idea to start his own social-networking website for Muslims, “Muxlim.com,” which in turn has become a tremendous success virtually overnight.
“Muxlim.com” has become such a sensational hit that it’s widely known to be the Muslim world’s replacement for the ever popular Facebook website. Founded in 2006 by El-Fatatry, it’s a Muslim based community where no subject is too taboo. “Muxlim.com” is based in Finland, providing it the opportunity and open mindedness to be such a boundless and liberated community.
With over ten million visitors per month from over 190 countries,”Muxlim.com” is an ever growing public convergence, and a limitless corporation with approximately 15-20 employees. So, as the saying goes: Out with the old and in with the new!
